Friends of St. Vincent’s
The Friends of St. Vincent's Center is a small group of volunteers formed to help the children and staff at St. Vincent's Center for Handicapped Children obtain the resources needed to educate and care for the children. They have provided food, medical, educational and musical supplies to the children of St. Vincent's since 1997. The Friends of St. Vincent's is an interfaith outreach ministry of St. James's Episcopal Church in West Hartford, Connecticut and has 501 (c) status. The mission of the group is to continue their efforts and expand the facilities at St. Vincent's to accommodate more children and adults throughout Haiti.

Children’s Nutrition Program
The Nutrition Program began in mid-1998 with the support of local individuals and churches in Chattanooga, Tennessee to address infant and child malnutrition in Leogone, Haiti. The Nutrition program is integrated into the community health structure of Hopital Ste. Croix in Leogone and is committed to the survival and growth of children, the rehabilitation of malnourished children, and to the health of mothers.

Maison de Naissance
The mission of Maison de Naissance is to serve a destitute group of women and children in Haiti with competent and compassionate health care. The services of a modern maternity center and community health program are offered from the hospitality of a safe, culturally appropriate, welcoming, and friendly home. Their strategy has been to recognize the barriers which deny healthcare to the poor and strive to overcome them. Maison de Naissance provides accessible, free, reliable healthcare.

Haiti Connection
Approximately every 18 months CMMH sponsors a Haiti Connection Conference, usually in Port-au-Prince, that brings together Haitian Episcopal priests and diocesan leaders with mission groups active in Haiti.
Persons of all levels of interest and experience in Haiti are welcome to attend.
The conference usually begins with an opening night dinner and keynote speaker followed by a day and a half of general sessions, break-out groups and meetings among partners. Topics focus on current issues in the areas of education, health care, and development.
Pre-conference trips are also planned to various mission projects throughout Haiti. Some are overnight trips, some are day trips. Experienced leaders take small groups to the mission projects. These trips are particularly beneficial to persons new to Haiti.
The last Haiti Connection Conference (our 10th such conference) was held in Port-au-Prince in November 2008. More than 185 people attended. Plans are currently underway for the next conference, tentatively scheduled for the spring of 2010.
